BRAND IDENTITY & ENVIRONMENTAL DESIGN
FOR THE LOVE OF COFFEE & LONG DOGS
Long Beans Coffee Co. is a dachshund-inspired mobile coffee truck serving handcrafted drinks and dog-loving vibes across central Pennsylvania. The brand is rooted in a big love for coffee and long dogs—built to fuel everyday caffeine cravings with personality and heart.I partnered with founder Riley Fisher to create a cohesive brand identity that felt both authentic and elevated within a competitive mobile coffee market. The goal was to establish a visual system that reflected the brand’s warm personality and supported growth across both digital platforms and physical touchpoints.
We worked collaboratively to ensure the heart of the brand celebrated the friendly neighborhood feel, Riley’s love for her dachshunds, Milo and Maeve, and the offerings of the business. This foundation directly shaped the visual identity of Long Beans Coffee Co.—playful, friendly, and grounded in love.
MY ROLE & PROCESS
I managed the project from concept through final delivery—facilitating discovery conversations, presenting design progress, incorporating client feedback, preparing production-ready files, providing guidance on print specifications and fabrication considerations, and delivering a cohesive brand system aligned with the client’s vision. This project highlights my ability to:
-
Build a brand from the ground up
- Think strategically across digital and physical touchpoints
-
Prepare files for and coordinate real-world production
-
Equip clients with tools for long-term success
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with both clients and vendors
DELIVERABLES
I developed a complete identity toolkit, including:- Primary and secondary logos
- Typography system tailored for versatility and personality
- Curated color palette that balanced bold impact with fun, approachable warmth
- Brand Book outlining usage standards
- Social media assets to support ongoing brand growth efforts
- Canva Brand ToolKit and templates to allow the client to create consistent, on-brand materials as needed
- Print collateral—stickers, menus, signage
- Trailer Wrap
Each asset was crafted to feel purposeful and flexible enough to grow with the business, as one of Riley’s goals is to someday expand to a brick-and-mortar storefront.
GETTING THE BRAND ON WHEELS
One of the most exciting parts of this project was bringing the brand to life through the design of the mobile coffee trailer. Riley wanted to fully embrace the identity so it was unmistakable at every turn. The trailer was front and center of the brand experience, so it needed to:
- Stand out in a crowd—whether in busy parking lots, at community events, or passing you on the highway on the way to its next destination
- Stay true to the brand identity and personality
- Be instantly recognizable as Long Beans Coffee Co.
Designing at this scale for the first time pushed me to think beyond flat layouts and carefully consider placement, proportion, and how the brand would live beyond a screen. The result is an eye-catching and fun trailer wrap that screams all things caffiene, dachshunds, and companionship.
If you’re ever in Lycoming or Clinton County, keep an eye out for Long Beans Coffee Co.—you won’t miss it!
